We attempted to launch a 360 degree GoPro rig with 6 cameras, a Garmin VIRB 360, a SPOT, and an APRS tracker on a 3000g balloon. We were minutes from launch and a giant gust of wind took the balloon away!
We had a backup 800g balloon but not enough helium to lift the GoPro rig. We launched the Garmin and the two tracking systems. The balloon and camera luckily came out of the clouds just before totality. We were hoping to be above 60,000 feet for totality but only made it to 40,000 since the second balloon launched later.
We have more balloons and really like our 4 armed payload rigging system. We want to actually launch the 360 GoPro rig even if it isn't during an eclipse.

We are making more BTS videos about calculating trajectories, modeling parts, and 3D printing the rig. Hope everyone else had clear skies for their launches.
