I have a guy who has a tank for sale at a good price, but all he can tell me about it is that it holds "20 lbs."
I feel kinda silly here, but it's hard to find a reliable conversion that makes sense.
This one here:
says that for Helium, there is 97.09 cubic feet per pound. Does that mean this cylinder can hold almost 2000 cubic feet of helium? Since I only need about 100 cu ft to launch a 600G balloon (1500g payload, 33,000 meters) according to the habhub , does that mean I could get 20 launches from one cylinder?
Something doesn't sound right about that to me.
